"Horses With A History Sale"

The Grohl Ranch is proud to be a guest consignor at this years "Horses With A History" Ranch and Performance Horse Sale. The sale will be held at Tony Costa's Ranch, Vaquero Farms, on Friday, October 9th. The address of the sale is 15500 N. Vasco Road in Byron. Preview is at 3:00 p.m. with the sale starting at 5:30 p.m. The following are the horses that the Grohl Ranch has consigned to the sale.

JR Fuel The Hatpatch- "Ethel" 2007 Gray Mare AQHA #5018236 This pretty gray mare is started with 60 days of riding. She is a good natured, gentle mare by MP Haypatch Tiger- LTE of $12,000 in barrel racing earnings. This mare is out of Galas Fliter Fuel. Galas Fliter Fuel is by Oklahoma Fuel and out of Queens Gala Te. "Ethel" is a full sister to Beacon", one of Betty's barrel racing horses.

JR Hay Blond Tiger- "Shyanne" 2007 Gray Mare AQHA# 5018356 This mare is cute,cute,cute! With over 60 days of riding, this filly is a good stopper and really moves well. She is a full sister to OK Haypatch, who is also in this sale. By "MP Haypatch Tiger, LTE of $12,000 in barrel racing. She is out of See F OK Blondie who is by Oklahoma Fuel and out of See F Poco Nicole.

OK Haypatch- "Paige" 2006 Palomino Mare AQHA# 4900744 This big, pretty palomino mare is gentle and started well on the barrels. She is roping the lead steer and handles it all. This mare is ready to be taken in any direction that you want to go, roping or barrel racing. She is by MP Haypatch Tiger- LTE of $12,000 in barrel racing and out of Galas Fliter Fuel who is by Oklahoma Fuel and out of Queens Gala Te. She is a full sister to one of Betty’s barrel racing horses, "Beacon".

Hay Moon Patch 2006 Bay Gelding AQHA #4900734 Star. Right hind pastern. Freeze branded with the rafter JR brand on the right thigh. “Wiiman” is a big linebacked bay gelding that is galloping the barrel pattern, being hauled and doing time onlys at races. He will be ready for the futurities in January or save him for next year and run him as a five year old. He has been used on the ranch and is roping the lead steer. He could be your next all around horse. By Malbecs Silvery Moon our other ranch stallion, who is by Miracle Moon by Top Moon and out of an own daughter of Doc’s Malbec. His Dam Blazing Haypatch is by MP Haypatch Tiger-LTE of $12,000, out of Miss Blazing Trail by Blaze a Trail and is a full sister to Betty’s horse “Courtney” that she sold to Stella Phillips last Fall. Stella and Courtney won the A.C.B.R.A. Open Championship this year as a 6 year old.

Hay Fern Alice 2006 Palomino Mare A.Q.H.A. #4995734 “Georgia” is a golden palomino mare and is started on the barrels and really hunts and turns them. She is roping the lead steer and is really gentle. By MP Haypatch Tiger LTE-$12,000 in barrel racing out of Fern Alice by Vando Mando out of Solids Fern by Solid Rocket.

Haypatch Chick 2007 Gray Mare A.Q.H.A. #5018234 “Miley” is very athletic, good looking and sweet. The total package! She has over 6o days of riding is doing really well. She is a half sister on the bottom to Ron’s good head horse “Flint”.
