Welcome to Grohl Ranch.com. The Grohl Ranch was established in 1864 in beautiful Jamestown, Ca. The ranch has been in the family for many generations, running cattle and now placing a focus on raising competitive quarter horses for the arena. Our goal is to raise NFR quality barrel racing and team roping horses. We will achieve this by breeding our awesome ranch stallion to our extremely talented broodmare band. We have many young prospects for sale by our stud, MP Haypatch Tiger.

MP Haypatch Tiger, "Haypatch," is a dynamic 1999 gray stallion who is a futurity barrel racing winner. He was injured during his futurity year and with a full breeding season still won $12,000. "Haypatch" is by PC Frenchmens Hayday, "Dinero," the Potter Ranch stallion ridden by World Champion barrel racer Sherry Cervi and heeled on by Cory Petska and other top PRCA cowboys. "Dinero" was ridden in the barrel racing at the NFR 2005 winning 3rd in the average. In 2005 he was #3 in the AQHA Heel Horse of the Year voting and has over $225,000 in life time earnings. He is a full brother to Kristie Petersen's 4 time WPRA World Champion barrel horse, 2 time Reserve WPRA World Champion barrel horse French Flash Hawk "Bozo". His dam is the legendary dam Casey's Charm. "Haypatch" is out of Rose Patch a daughter of Lay A Patch AAA, sire of Sherry Cevi's World Champion Sir Double Delight "Troubles". Rose Patch is the mother of MP Patches of Hay "Lori" (LTE $100,000) in team roping.

We have put together some of the best barrel racing and team roping lines available into our awesome broodmare band. We feature such lines as Dash Ta Fame, Oklahoma Fuel, Solid Rocket, Driftwood Ike, Beduino, Jazzing Hi, Doc's Jack Frost, AR Star, Firewater Flit, Vando Mando, Top Moon, Doc's Malbec, Isle Drift, Jimmie the Kid, Triple Chick and Frosty Tops.
